About Clarkes of Queniborough
Welcome. We're a producer of high quality frozen ready meals, all made by us in small batches on our own premises. Before June 2007 we were known as Ready Meals Direct, we've now decided to change to use our original business name, Clarkes Queniborough.
In an age where mass production is common we are proud to be different. We take great care in sourcing the best ingredients, wherever possible locally reared or grown. We then take these and use them to prepare meals for you in our kitchen, freezing them in foil packs so that they reach you in perfect condition, ready to cook, serve and enjoy.
Clarkes is a family business, established in 1982. We run a village shop in rural Leicestershire which began as a butchers but now sells an increasing range of delicatessen items. Our Ready Meals business began in 1988 on a small scale and has been so successful that we now sell in a number village stores and farm shops locally, nationally and even internationally.
