Treble Top For Clarkes' Sausages

Clarkes of Queniborough swept the board, winning all three awards for best sausages at the 2006 Annual Melton Christmas Show.
The Show has been running for 24 years now but this is the first time that anyone has won all three categories. Clarkes won in the best pork sausage category with their Gloucester Old Spot Pork Sausage and then went on to take top spot for speciality pork sausage with their Pork and Leek sausage and finally the Beef and Mustard sausage was rated as the best speciality non-pork sausage with their Lamb and Mint Sausage coming Third.
Ian Clarke was delighted.
"Melton's reputation for excellent food is growing all the time so we knew the competition would be tough. We were absolutely delighted to win in all three of the categories. I think our success is down to three main factors, lots of experience, using only the best ingredients and listening to our customers. We've carried out customers tasting trials and surveys this year to help us to develop even better sausages, this result proves it works!"
